EXECUTIVE OF FINANCE
Executive of Finance
The Executive of Finance is responsible for maintaining the financial accountability of the organization. He or she will manage all invoices and expenditures and will help make and maintain a yearly budget. The Executive of Finance is also in charge of sending out documentation for tax-deductible donations and working with an accounting firm to file with the IRS. In addition, as a member of the executive team, the Executive of Finance will attend executive team meetings, lead meetings for members of his or her finance committee, and meet the point requirement for RIDE417 executives.
EXECUTIVE OF FUNDRAISING
Executive of Fundraising
The Executive of Fundraising will be in charge of setting and meeting a fundraising goal for the financial year, beginning and maintaining relationships with corporate sponsors, working with the Executive of Finance to maintain financial accountability within the organization, and planning and executing any fundraising events throughout the year. In addition, as a member of the executive team, the Executive of Fundraising will attend executive team meetings, lead meetings for members of his or her fundraising committee, and meet the point requirement for RIDE417 executives.
EXECUTIVE OF MARKETING
Executive of Marketing
The Executive of Marketing will be responsible for promoting RIDE417 through a variety of channels, such a social media, print materials, and presentations. He or she will be in charge of overseeing the design and development of promotional materials. The Executive of Marketing will also be a liaison with any forms of news media and will help present RIDE417 well. In addition, as a member of the executive team, the Executive of Marketing will attend executive team meetings, lead meetings for members of his or her marketing committee, and meet the point requirement for RIDE417 executives.
EXECUTIVE OF PUBLIC RELATIONS
Executive of Public Relations
The Executive of Public Relations will also work for the sustainability of RIDE417 by fostering community support. He or she is in charge of starting and maintaining strong relationships between the organization and the larger community of Springfield. He or she will present to organizations that are in line with the mission of RIDE417 and raise awareness of for the organization. The Executive of Public Relations will also be a liaison with any city officials or public service officers, as well as with any news or media sources to maintain the good standing of RIDE417. In addition, as a member of the executive team, the Executive of Finance will attend executive team meetings, lead meetings for members of his or her Public Relations committee, and meet the point requirement for RIDE417 executives.
EXECUTIVE OF RECRUITMENT
Executive of Recruitment
The Executive of Recruitment will be expected to recruit new members for the organization. At the beginning of the academic year, he or she will be in charge of communication with each higher education campus and reaching out to students through the most effective channels. After recruitment is finished for each semester, the Executive of Recruitment will be in charge of placing each general member into teams and communicating and leading the team leaders. In addition, as a member of the executive team, the Executive of Recruitment will attend executive team meetings, lead meetings for the team leaders, and meet the point requirement for RIDE417 executives.
EXECUTIVE OF RISK MANAGEMENT
Executive of Risk Management
The Executive of Risk Management will be responsible for taking all the necessary precautions through policy and procedure to protect the safety of both the general members and patrons of RIDE417. The Executive of Risk Management will be in charge of documentation of each ride and any incidents that occur. The Executive of Risk Management will also meet quarterly with the RIDE417 Advisory Board to address any concerns that have arisen. In addition, as a member of the executive team, the Executive of Risk Management will attend executive team meetings, lead meetings for members of his or her risk management committee, and meet the point requirement for RIDE417 executives.
TEAM LEADERS
Team Leaders
Team leaders will function as general members (serving as drivers and navigators) on eight operational nights each semester. However, they will also be in charge of a designated group of general members. They will plan and lead monthly group activities and act as a liaison between the general members and the executive team. They will be required to meet the team leader point requirement.
GENERAL MEMBERS
General Members
General members will serve as either drivers or navigators on at least five operating nights during the semester. They will be required to meet the general member point requirement by working operational nights, attending organizational meetings and training sessions, and participating in a monthly group activity.
